# Translate YOUR Messages

You can setup automatic translation for any channel or Direct Message. Choose the language and desired [posting format](/features/automatic-translation/display-format.md), and then every message you send in that channel will automatically be translated and posted for all team members in that channel to see. No need copy-and-paste or click a button to share the translated text. A huge time-saver for teams that speak different languages.&#x20;
